Join Enstone Eco for Riverfly Monitoring on the River Glyme in Enstone!

Come be part of our Riverfly Monitoring, where we'll assess the health of our local river by counting riverfly larvae, a key indicator of water quality. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about our river's ecosystem, connect with other nature lovers, and contribute to a national citizen science project!

What We’ll Do:

• Sampling: We'll use simple, standardized techniques to safely gather samples and identify key riverfly species.

• Recording & Reporting: All data will be recorded in a national database, where it can help detect pollution and monitor long-term health in the village and area.

• Learning: No previous experience is needed—just bring your enthusiasm for nature!
