Enstone Eco at The Enstone Show 20th August

Updated: Sep 1, 2022

There was an electric Eco-buzz around the Enstone Show. What a great afternoon! We were very pleased to talk to so many people discussing electric cars and bikes, gaining your environmental views for action within the Parish, sharing our top tips to reduce your environmental footprint and making a wonderful Mandala pattern to show that nature doesn’t begin and end but is always connected. A big thank you to those who kindly brought their cars and bikes along and gave their ‘real world’ experience of buying and owning them. Anyone wishing to ask further questions can contact us either through our Contacts page here on our website or our email. We will do our best to answer them.

Thank you too for the information that you shared with us about your environmental concerns within the Parish. We will collate this information and decide how to move forward to help us make a difference. Please share any further ideas/thoughts that you have concerning Eco issues. Enstone Eco group are here for the People of the Parish to help us look after the planet and make us a better Eco-community.

What will your change be for September? You might: test out the Bower Collective for sustainable products in reusable packaging; make a swap in your diet to help nature (see our link to Climate action Oxfordshire or WWF Eat4change ; or try Oxfam’s second-hand September challenge. Every small change will make a difference!

In the meantime, please contact us or join us at our next meeting on 21st September, from 7pm in the Litchfield Room, Enstone Parish Hall.
