🎬 Hope Film Series Comes to Enstone — 24th March
We are thrilled to announce that Sustainable Chipping Norton have secured the rights to show the acclaimed Hope documentary series in Enstone! The first screening will take place on Monday 24th March at 6:30pm in the village hall. Free entry.
This powerful film showcases real solutions to the climate crisis, combining compelling stories with science and optimism. It is a perfect opportunity to be inspired, learn together, and connect with neighbours who care about our planet's future. The series has been praised internationally for its focus on regeneration, rewilding, and the circular economy.
Come along for 🍿 popcorn and 🍲 soup, and stay afterwards for a chat about the film. Please bring your friends, neighbours, and a a donation for the pot if you can. This is a collaboration with Sustainable Chipping Norton, and we are grateful to Cara for coordinating this opportunity.
You can preview the series at hopelaserie.com.
🦋 Riverfly Monitoring — Dates Coming Soon
Our riverfly monitoring programme will resume once the river levels drop again. This important citizen science project helps us track the health of our local waterways by monitoring invertebrate populations. Watch this space for dates — we will let you know as soon as conditions are right.
♻️ Big Plastic Campaign — Still Time to Join
We hope some of you are already taking part in the Big Plastic Count! https://thebigplasticcount.com/ If you have not yet joined, there is still time. This is a great way to understand your household plastic use and make small changes that add up. Get in touch if you would like more information.
🌧️ Take Time in Nature
As we move through late winter, take a moment to enjoy the rain and all that it offers our countryside. The hazel catkins are out in force, and if you look closely, you will spot the tiny pink flowers emerging. These small signs of spring are a lovely reminder of the beauty on our doorstep.
